WASHINGTON , March 28, 2014 (press release) – Acocrding to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's annual vegetables report, the U.S. total of processing tomatoes harvested in 2013 was 12.6 million tons. The price paid per ton for processing tomatoes was US$77.80 last year, 1.4% higher than 2012.
