Nestle Finland has invested €15M in Turenki ice cream plant in Finland since acquiring plant 10 years ago, company says

March 18, 2014 () – Nestlé Finland has invested EUR 15mn in the Turenki ice cream plant in Finland after the company acquired the plant 10 years ago. Also Nestlé Finland's product development is done in Turenki. Almost all the production is sold in Finland. Finnish consumers like cream ice cream, liquorice and salmiac flavours, milk chocolate and Finnish berries. Lactose-free ice cream accounts for 15% of the Finnish market, and the share is increasing. About 20 new products have been developed for the summer of 2014.
