WIPO publishes Unicharm patent for 'pet food'

GENEVA , March 10, 2014 (U.S. Fed News) – Publication No. WO/2014/034962 was published on March 6.

Title of the invention: "PET FOOD."

Applicants: UNICHARM CORPORATION (JP).

Inventors: Yuma Ikezaki (JP).

According to the abstract* posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "The present description relates to a pet food having a consistency measured using a Bostwick consistometer of 9.0 to 16.0 cm/minute, and having a water content of at least 80.0% by weight of the total weight of the pet food composition with an opening size."

The patent was filed on Aug. 30, 2013 under Application No. PCT/JP2013/074004.
