GATINEAU, Quebec , March 3, 2014 (press release) – Canadian Intellectual Property Office has granted patent no. CA2634107, on February 25, 2014, to UNILEVER PLC, titled as "FOOD PRODUCT AND A PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION THEREOF"

According to the abstract released by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office: "A process to prepare a protein aggregate is provided comprising the steps of

decreasing the pH of an aqueous protein

solution of one or more undenatured proteins and shearing said solution,

whereby the temperature is less than 70 degrees C."

The patent was filed on 2005-12-21 Application no. 05077967.7
