Casual dining chain, Pizza Hut is looking to enhance its presence across the country particularly in tier II and III markets with a renewed focus on north according to its Marketing Director, Sunay Bhasin. In Chandigarh, Pizza hut has 9 outlets and in Punjab, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir it has over 30 outlets as at present.
Bhasin who is here in Chandigarh to launch "Big Pizza" told media persons here today that at present Pizza Hut has 320 outlets across the country in 62 cities. Last year, Pizza Hut added 61 new outlets and it is likely to continue with that pace in the current year too "The idea is to to expand to smaller cities with disposable incomes", Sunay Bhasin quipped. He said that besides strengthening retail presence, Pizza Hut is also looking to expand its product offerings to consumers.
