Constellation Brands planning to expand its Svedka vodka brand to Asian market in attempt to double its business in region by February 2016

LONDON , February 14, 2014 () – US-based beverage company Constellation Brands is planning to expand its Svedka vodka footprint in the Asian market in a drive to double its business in the region by February 2016. As part of the ramp-up, which initiated 12 months ago, the company has already launched Svedka in India and South Korea and will be entering markets in Vietnam, Japan and Taiwan before the end of 2014. The company will also focus on growing its wine business in China as part of the expansion strategy, reports just-drinks.com, citing Constellation's Asia head Jake Jacob.
