TC Transcontinental Printing selling Rastar, its Utah-based personalized print products subsidiary, to Sun Litho subsidiary Digibell; sale part of Transcontinental's strategy to focus on commercial printing operations in Canada

– TC Transcontinental Printing, a division of TC Transcontinental (TSX : TCL.A TCL. B TCL.PR.D) announced today that it is selling the assets of Rastar, based in Utah, USA, a subsidiary which specializes in personalized print products. Rastar will be acquired by Digibell, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Litho, one of the most well-known commercial printers in Utah since 1941.
"The decision to dispose of Rastar's assets is consistent with our strategy to focus on our commercial printing operations in Canada. We are certain that Rastar's customers will continue to be well served by the new owner and we thank them for their support over the past several years.
