Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers introduce paperless ticket program for season and mini-plan ticket holders for 2014 season; team cites benefits of program including ease of transferring tickets, using on smartphone to enter stadium

LOS ANGELES , February 12, 2014 (press release) – While continuing to upgrade their on-field product and Dodger Stadium, the Dodgers are introducing a paperless ticket program for season and mini-plan holders in 2014, the team announced.

The Dodgers have entered a ticketing partnership with Tickets.com, based in Costa Mesa, CA, to launch the TDC ProVenue Ticketing platform to afford fans a better and improved ticketing experience using their enhanced technology. Some 17 Major League Baseball clubs utilize the ProVenue platform of Tickets.com, a leader in ticket technology.

The following is a list of some new ticketing features the Dodgers will roll out for the 2014 season:

Digital/mobile delivery to all customers
State-of-the-art customer interface, buy process, ticket management
Integrated loyalty programs
Interactive seat maps
One system for window sales and back office use
Highly configurable system, no limitations
