LOS ANGELES , February 11, 2014 () – In the U.K., domestic demand has been constant for old corrugated containers (OCC) and mixed paper, while collection volumes have increased, according to some market players, reported Euwid on Feb. 10.

Mixed paper prices were up slightly compared to December.

As is common after the holidays, the supply of recovered paper is plentiful due to more volume being collected. However, these volumes are not as high as a year ago, sources told Euwid.

Some wastepaper got wet and had to be stored in warehouses until it dried, Euwid reported.
