MUMBAI, India , February 10, 2014 () – McDonald's Corp of Oak Brook, USA received approval from Office of The Trade Marks Registry on the trademark MCDONALD`S IN CYRILLIC (2336506).

The description of the mark registered is "Cl.29 - Foods prepared from meat, pork, fish and poultry products, preserved and cooked fruits and vegetables, eggs, cheese, milk, milk preparations, pickles, desserts. Cl.30 - Edible sandwiches, meat sandwiches, pork sandwiches, fish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, biscuits, bread, cakes, cookies, chocolate, coffee, coffee substitutes, tea, mustard, oatmeal, pastries, sauces, seasonings, sugar. Cl.32 - Non-alcoholic beverages, syrups and other preparations for making Beverages. Cl.43 - Restaurant services." It comes under Class 99 Trademark classification.

Application for the trademark was filed on May 23, 2012.

The Trademark was published in Journal No. 1620 on Dec. 23, 2013.
