Costco's January sales rose 6% year-over-year to US$7.99B as comparable-store sales climb 4%; for 22-week fiscal year-to-date, sales up 6% to US$46.32B, comparable-store sales up 3%

ISSAQUAH, Washington , February 6, 2014 (press release) – Costco Wholesale Corporation ("Costco" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: COST) today reported net sales of $7.99 billion for the month of January, the four weeks ended February 2, 2014, an increase of six percent from $7.51 billion during the similar four-week period last year.  For the twenty-two weeks ended February 2, 2014, the Company reported net sales of $46.32 billion, an increase of six percent from $43.77 billion during the similar period last year.
