Eastman Chemical to increase global prices on specialty plasticizers products by US$0.06/lb., effective Feb. 15 or as contracts allow

KINGSPORT, Tennessee , January 16, 2014 (press release) – Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products Feb. 15, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials.

Eastman TXIB™ Formulation Additive : List price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally. Off-list price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) and €EUR 0.10/kg globally.

Eastman TXIB™ SG Formulation Additive : List price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally. Off-list price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) and €EUR 0.10/kg globally.
