SURREY, England , January 14, 2014 () – Dec 2013 stocks of low density polyethylene (LDPE) and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) were at their lowest. Spot prices for LDPE in Dec 2013 increased from EUR 1260/tonne free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) to EUR 1320-1350/tonne FD. The tightness in the sector resulted in increases by over EUR 30/tonne of some LDPE Dec 2013 prices.
