BEIJING , January 13, 2014 () – The Chinese government will roll out a series of policies and measures in 2014 to support self-owned farm machine brands, according to a report published on a leading domestic farm machine website www.nyjx.cn on Monday.

The related listed companies on China's A-share market likely to benefit from the policies include First Tractor Co. (601038.SH), Gifore Agricultural Machinery Chain Co. (300022.SZ), Xinjiang Machinery Research Institute Co. (300159.SZ) and Jiangsu Jianghuai Engine Co. (000816.SZ).

The agricultural equipment industry is the base for agricultural mechanization and will play a major role in supporting Chinese agriculture's sustainable development, and guaranteeing grain security.

Currently, China's agricultural equipment industry is maintaining rapid growth as the government is attaching more and more importance to the popularization of farm machines. (Edited by Liu Xiaoyun, liuxy08@xinhua.org)
