InventHelp, a Pittsburgh-based inventor service company, is submitting the Stay Fresh Top Lock to companies for their review.
"Packaged foods, if not resealed properly, tend to get stale or spoil soon after they are opened," said an inventor from Lakewood, Colo. "In order to guard against this, I came up with a better packaging idea."
He developed the STAY FRESH TOP LOCK to ensure that packaging remains airtight after it is resealed. This prevents food from spoiling or getting stale prematurely. It also keeps out bugs. The invention helps food last longer. In addition, it is adaptable for use with any type of packaged food.
The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
