Canada's Mattamy Homes appoints Robert Kardos as president of its Carolinas Division; Kardos previously served as president of Toll Brothers' Charlotte Division

Mattamy Homes, one of the Charlotte area's most decorated homebuilders in recent years, welcomes aboard a new President to the company's Carolinas Division.

Robert Kardos joined Mattamy's Carolinas team on November 18, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of President. This includes more than 25 years of experience across all aspects of the homebuilding industry, with a number of leading firms. He spent the last 11 years with Toll Brothers, most recently as their Charlotte Division President. Robert has also worked for M/I Scottenstein Homes, Custom Touch Builders and Ryan Homes. He has his general contractor licenses in North and South Carolina, and Georgia, and is a member of the HBA of Charlotte as well as the National Association of Home Builders. Robert holds a BA in Architectural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.

Robert will be responsible for leading all aspects of Mattamy's business in the Carolinas, including the sale and construction of homes in the company's 11 existing and planned communities as well significantly growing the company's land base in the region.
