Overstock.com launches daily 24-hour flash sales, featuring most popular products on its website for up to 50% off; multiple deals featured each day, with more planned during holidays

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah , November 20, 2013 (press release) – Offering Multiple Flash Deals Discounted up to 50 Percent

Overstock.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSTK) now offers 24-hour flash sales ("Daily Deals") starting at 10 a.m. MST, seven days a week. To power these flash sales, Overstock.com is searching its website for the most popular products in such categories as furniture, area rugs, bedding, and electronics and discounting them for a limited time up to 50 percent.

The Daily Deals page shows a running countdown so that customers know how long the flash sale will last (unless the product sells out first), and provides a sneak peek of upcoming deals. Overstock.com also allows customers to sign up for Daily Deal email alerts.

Currently, Overstock.com offers multiple deals each day with more planned during the holidays. Byrne continues, "Our customers will find some of the hottest deals in our Daily Deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We expect this inventory will go fast."

Shipping is free to all Overstock.com customers for orders of $50 or more. Shipping on orders less than $50 is only $2.95, regardless of how many items are ordered. Members of Club O, Overstock.com's loyalty program, receive free shipping and at least 5 percent in reward dollars on all purchases, 15 percent in reward dollars on book purchases, and 25 percent in reward dollars on select products. Club O memberships are available for $19.95 per year and are free to members of the United States Armed Forces.
