Brown-Forman announces appointment of Marshall B. Farrer to new position of VP, global brand director for Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey

– Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BFA) (NYSE:BFB) today announced the appointment of Marshall B. Farrer to the new position of vice president, global brand director for Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, effective November 1, 2013.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey was introduced in the U.S. in 2011 and in the U.K. and more than 25 additional international markets over the last two years. In fiscal 2013, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey grew net sales by 98% and global volumes to 770,000 nine liter cases.
“As this new expression of Jack Daniel’s has extended the brand’s reach to new consumers and occasions, we must ensure we have the right resources to help Tennessee Honey achieve its full potential,” said John Hayes, SVP, global brand director of the Jack Daniel’s franchise for Brown-Forman. “We believe Marshall Farrer is the right person to lead this brand to great global success over the long term.”
Farrer is now completing a four-year expat assignment in Australia as the vice president, managing director of Brown-Forman’s Australia/New Zealand business and he will repatriate to Louisville to undertake his new responsibilities. Over the last 15 years, he has progressed at the company through a number of leadership positions across several functions and geographies.
