BEIJING , November 1, 2013 () – China's sugar crushing industry is likely to see a turning point in its performances in the crushing season of 2013-14 given the improving supply/demand fundamentals, analysts say.

Besides recovering demand from downstream industries, expectations for output decline in the new crushing season will also help boost sugar prices.

The China Sugar Conference, due to be held Friday, will report forecasts for sugar crop planting and output in the new crushing year.
