Logger dies near Sayward, British Columbia; accident under investigation

LOS ANGELES , October 22, 2013 () – A logger died Monday north of Sayward, British Columbia, though few details are yet available, the Campbell River Mirror reported on Oct. 22.

As of Tuesday morning, the logger’s name had not been released and the accident was under investigation.

The newspaper reported that he was injured at a site located off the Peel Main logging road but had succumbed to his injuries by the time Campbell River Search and Rescue arrived on the scene.

The body was airlifted to the British Columbia Coroners Service.
