USPTO issues trademark 'Comforts For Baby' to Kroger for baby diapers

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia , October 8, 2013 (U.S. Fed News) – The trademark COMFORTS FOR BABY (Reg. No. 4409748) was issued on Oct. 1 by the USPTO.

Owner: The Kroger Co. of Michigan CORPORATION MICHIGAN 40399 Grand River Avenue Novi MICHIGAN 48375.

The trademark application serial number 85692848 was filed on Aug. 1, 2012 and was registered on Oct. 1.

The description of the mark registered is "Color is not claimed as a feature of the mark. The mark consists of a cartoon firefly wearing a diaper, sleeping on leaf, all within a circular background enclosed within a darker circular border. The wording "COMFORTS" appears curved downward in the upper half of the darker circular border and the wording "FOR BABY" appears curved upward in the lower half of the darker circular border. Curved dashes appear before and after "FOR BABY". The wording appears between two series of polka dots forming concentric circles within the border. The darker circular border is enclosed within a lighter scalloped border."
