Ukraine estimates grain exports at 5.7 million tons since start of 2013-2014 marketing year that started in July, government says; wheat exports at 3.5 million tons

September 27, 2013 () – As of September 27, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food Supplies has estimated grain export at 5.709 million tons since the start of the 2013/2014 marketing year (July 2013-June 2014), the ministry said in the press-release.

Since the start of the marketing year, Ukraine has exported 3.453 million tons of wheat, including 2.486 million tons of food grain, and also 1.586 million tons of barley, 649,300 tons of maize, and 22,100 tons of other crops.

Besides, Ukraine has exported 1.272 million tons of oil crops, including 1.261 million tons of rape and 10,800 tons of soybean.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food expects exports of 28 million tons of grain crops in the 2013/2014 marketing year.
