ITASCA, Illinois , September 9, 2013 (press release) – Chicago-area printer, PrintSure DigitalPackaging, chooses Xeikon for format flexibility and productivity

Xeikon NV, an innovator in digital color printing technology, announced today that PrintSure Digital Packaging has purchased and installed a Xeikon digital color press to support its growing digital printing business.

Founded in 2000, the Elk Grove Village, Illinois-based business specializes in short-run printed packaging prototypes, samples and displays. Originally focusing on signage and wallpaper borders, PrintSure has evolved as a leader in custom packaging prototypes. Today the company works with a wide array of customers throughout the prototyping process, from concept to completion, to create unique solutions that fit their specific needs.

“We chose Xeikon because they offer advantages that no one else in the business can beat,” said Phil Edwards, president of PrintSure. He cited the unmatched format flexibility, impressive color capabilities and the ability to print on both sides of a material in one pass as reasons PrintSure chose Xeikon. Edwards continued, “Xeikon has also demonstrated a real commitment to customer service — and to the packaging sector in general.”

Furthermore, Xeikon’s dry toner technology meets all the applicable FDA guidelines for direct and indirect food contact, a major advantage to PrintSure that often deals with food packaging projects.

According to Todd Blumsack, Vice President of Sales, Xeikon America, Inc., “PrintSure truly understands the customer requirements in their chosen vertical markets. We are pleased they have selected our technology to further strengthen their competitive advantage and market positioning in these verticals. We are looking forward to a great working partnership with PrintSure and wish them continued success.”
