This hot trend from the 1950s has hit the runways once again. Bold and colourful, clothes in digital prints are all in vogue right now. Be it maxi dresses, skirts, pants or sarees, actresses abroad and back home have been seen sporting this brand new trend. A few tips on how you can wear it
Go Indian: This vintage trend can now be incorporated in Indian wear as well. For example Sonam Kapoor, who has carried off the digital print saree with panache on more than one occasion. The saree can be paired with a peter pan collared blouse. To break the monotony don't pair this saree with your usual blouse. Try high neck cuts, collars or net sleeves. A elegant silk jacket thrown on will complete the look.
Dress up : Hollywood stars like Blake Lively and Leighton Meester of the Gossip Girl fame have been seen sporting this trend.
Funky dresses with digital prints in vibrant colours look chic with solid coloured pumps. Wear minimal jewellery for the elegant look.
Colour block: If you are planning to wear a pair of pants with digital prints, make sure you team it with a plain colour top.
You can select a colour from the print itself for the top. Or you can go all wild by going for contrast colours. Published by HT Syndication with permission from New Indian Express.
