LG 's LFX31935 French door refrigerator, WM8000HVA dishwasher named best items in their respective categories by US home appliance magazine Twice

SEOUL, South Korea , August 14, 2013 (Yonhap News Agency) – Major appliances produced by LG Electronics Inc. were rated as the best items in their respective categories by U.S. home appliance magazine TWICE, the South Korean tech giant said Wednesday.

According to LG Electronics, its bottom-mount LG LFX31935 French Door Refrigerator won a VIP (very important product) award during the magazine's first-ever product awards.

Its LG WM8000HVA dishwasher and 47-inch Class Cinema 3D 1080P LED Smart TV were also selected by the U.S. magazine for VIP awards, according to LG Electronics.

TWICE, a trade publication for retailers and distributors in the consumer electronics and major appliance industries, had been holding on-line voting for the awards since fall last year.

Retailers and distributors voted on products in specific categories based on product features, product design and value to consumers, according to TWICE.
