Menasha Packaging’s newest Display Excellence Campus is now open in Northbrook, Illinois. The location specifically serves Walgreens and its vendor community.
Having worked with Walgreens in merchandising and purchasing since 2002, the new location is no coincidence. The campus’ proximity to one of Menasha’s key customers allows for innovative strategy meetings and collaborative learning sessions with Walgreens stakeholders and its consumer packaged goods (CPGs) customers.
“Since Menasha Packaging has been working with Walgreens for more than a decade, we have good equity with the retailer,” said Paul Murphy, National Director of Retail Sales and Retail Integration Institute (RII) Walgreens Director. “As Walgreens On-Site Preferred Display Partner, we know how to help CPGs navigate the path to purchase.”
A dedicated team from Menasha staffs the campus fulltime, helping manage Walgreens’ Display Excellence Process by serving as a liaison between Walgreens and the CPGs.
“Our relationships, experience and first-hand knowledge of Walgreens’ personnel, systems, process and trends help CPGs gain approvals with fewer changes on their displays through Walgreens’ comprehensive approval process,” said Walgreens Team Leader Katie Schommer. “The companies are able to leverage our strategic relationship with Walgreens making it easier to get their products on store floors and shelves.”
