Canidae Natural Pet Food announces reformulation of their grain and gluten-free Pure formulas for dogs and cats

SAN LUIS OBISPO, California , July 24, 2013 (press release) – CANIDAE® Natural Pet Food Company announced today the reformulation of their grain and gluten free PURE formulas for dogs and cats. The new recipes are made using only 7 to 10 key ingredients—with added vitamins, minerals, and natural flavors. Fresh meat or fish are the first ingredient in every bag, along with whole foods like sweet potato, chickpeas, and peas.

These simple recipes make PURE Grain Free formulas ideal for dogs and cats with food sensitivities. And the optimum levels of protein make it a great choice for pets without sensitivities. Also included is HealthPLUS Solutions in Every Bite™, with guaranteed levels of live probiotic cultures to support healthy digestion, powerful antioxidants from vitamins and minerals for a healthy immune system, and a blend of healthy omega 6 & 3 to provide optimal nutrition and a beautiful skin and coat. All Grain Free PURE dry dog recipes are now formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for Maintenance. All Grain Free PURE dry cat recipes are formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.

Along with the rollout of the new Grain Free PURE dog and cat formulas, all the packaging got a fresh new makeover.
