Technology & Service Vendors Driving Innovation in Digital Publishing in 2013
Digital Book World’s Marketing + Publishing Services Expo will showcase leading technology and service vendors in a one day event for publishers on September 26, 2013 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. Participating companies will offer solutions in key mission critical process areas such as marketing, editorial/production, digital asset management/distribution and rights/royalties.
Program content focuses on opportunities, as well as pain points, experienced by many publishers today. The goal is to introduce professionals to new methodologies, new services and new technologies that will address each participant’s singular needs and ultimately contribute to their business’ expansion. A unique characteristic of the event is that sponsors who sign on by July 15th may help to shape the program by recommending publishing clients to speak on their innovative strategies and tactics for driving change and growth.
Firstsource (firstsource.com), a provider of customer-centric business process services, is the first company to sign on as a sponsor of the first Digital Book World Marketing + Publishing Services Conference & Expo. Firstsource has a network of delivery centers spread across India, Ireland, Philippines, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, and the United States of America, allowing media and publishing companies to leverage the ‘Rightshore’ delivery model. The company’s services include: customer management, data / transaction processing and collections. Firstsource helps clients improve customer satisfaction, reduce operational costs, record process improvements and more importantly, focus on core competence.
The Marketing + Publishing Services Conference & Expo presented jointly by Digital Book World and Publishers Launch Conferences will provide the latest data, analysis and emerging best practices in mission-critical process areas at publishing companies today – marketing, editorial/production, digital asset management/distribution, and rights and royalties. This innovative program is carefully priced to allow companies to choose multiple representatives to participate in the full-day event; or attend one of two tracks best suited to their current strategy and business needs. The Marketing Conference, programmed by Digital Marketing Expert Peter McCarthy formerly of Random House, is a full-day event offering a comprehensive strategy and proven blueprint for book marketing in the digital age. The Publishing Services Expo offers three finely-targeted “mini-conferences” for critical and often-overlooked publishing constituencies. Each includes an efficiently programmed two-and-half-hour session that pairs expert educational sessions with vendor ‘speed dating’ to explore, and deploy, new solutions.
