TRESU Group, the flexo technology provider, has acquired the rights from paper and packaging group Stora Enso to manufacture and market a new flexo coating system for integration into sheet-fed folding carton converting lines that feature the digital printing process.
Originally developed through collaboration between Stora Enso subsidiary Stora Enso Digital Solutions and the TRESU Group, the TRESU Digital Sheet Coater will enable folding carton converters to exploit the enormous growth potential for short production runs and serialisation in a number of high-end niches. These include confectionery, direct marketing, gifts and pharmaceuticals.

The TRESU Digital Sheet Coater will be built at TRESU Group's Bjert, Denmark-based factory, also the location of the company's global headquarters.
