Euro-area industrial production grows 0.4% in euro area, 0.3% in EU in April versus March on seasonally adjusted basis; year-over-year, industrial production down 0.6% in euro area, 0.8% in EU: Eurostat

BRUSSELS , June 12, 2013 (press release) – In April 2013 compared with March 2013, seasonally adjusted industrial production grew by 0.4% in the euro area (EA17) and by 0.3% in the EU27, according to estimates released by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In March3 production rose by 0.9% in both zones. In April 2013 compared with April 2012, industrial production fell by 0.6% in the euro area and by 0.8% in the EU27.
