– JK Paper is likely to commission its Rs 1,700-crore expansion project in Rayagada, Odisha by August. With this initiative, the company plans to gear up to consolidate its specialty paper business. The JK Singhania Group company will be able to increase Rs 800-850 crore in revenues in a full year of operation, with this expansion project, which adds a capacity of 1.65 lakh tonnes of paper a year, and pulping capacity of 2.15 lakh tonnes. JK Paper is India's largest producer of branded paper and is a leading player in the printing and writing segment. It is also engaged in outsourcing activity wherein it contracts the capacities of other mills in India and abroad to manufacture various grades of paper, maintaining the same quality and service assurance.
