Magnussen Home Furnishings has teamed up with Crayola LLC to launch a line of youth bedroom furniture in October in pieces that have functional elements for children to store their art supplies as well as create and display artwork, Furniture Today reported May 31.
The line will incorporate Crayola colors and includes beds, dresser, mirror, nightstand, chests, a student desk, chair and hutch and is designed for both boys and girls.
The multiyear licensing agreement between the two companies is a strong fit for Magnussen, said the company’s president Nathan Cressman.
Moreover, the partnership will improve its reach in the youth bedroom category, helping the company expand in this area, Cressman said.
The twin beds are expected to be sold at US$299-$399, with dressers to retail between $399 and $599.
Magnussen is based in New Hamburg, Ontario, with offices in High Point, North Carolina; Riverside, California; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, according to the company website.
