SmartSoft launches new address verification software, mailing solutions for the Canadian direct mailing market; Frameworks Canada Mailers Edition adds Postal Presorting functionality, AccuMail Verify provides real-time postal address verification

AGOURA HILLS, California , May 16, 2013 (press release) – New Address Verification Software and Mailing Solutions coincide with new Canadian website launch

Datatech SmartSoft, the Canadian-owned leader in postal software and address accuracy technology, today announced two major new solutions for the Canadian market, along with a new website at

Frameworks Canada Mailers Edition is an expansion of their batch Address Accuracy software, frameworks Canada, which uses Point of Call data from Canada Post to validate postal addresses and generate Statements of Accuracy (SOAs). The new Mailers Edition adds Postal Presorting functionality, enabling mailers to claim Canada Post Incentive Mailing discount rates, whether they are using Incentive Lettermail, Addressed Admail or Publication Mail services. The SERP Recognized software produces all required postal reports and documentation, including the Statement of Mailing.

It also provides other features such as:

  • A Three-step Mailing Assistant that lets mailers set up and print their mail in three simple steps.
  • The ability to export all job details and settings to third party applications for printing.
  • An intuitive Label and Envelope Designer, with click and drag functionality for simple layout design.
  • A Printer Configurator that lets you manage settings for each of your printers from within the frameworks Canada interface, including Media Type, Print Quality, Color Settings and more.
  • An optional Command Line feature that lets you set up frequently run processes once and run them automatically without the need for manual intervention.
In addition, Datatech SmartSoft has also released a new point-of-entry Canadian address verification tool, AccuMail Verify, which provides real-time postal address verification for websites, intranets or other browser-based applications.

AccuMail Verify is fully customizable and easily integrated into existing applications and address forms, so that addresses are validated without users ever leaving the page. Available either as a web service or integrated locally into existing enterprise applications, the service prevents inaccurate or incomplete data from entering your system. Addresses are standardized and any missing elements such as Postal Codes added.

Ideal for websites, call centers, shipping and fulfillment systems, as well as companies using CRM or other applications that capture address information, AccuMail Verify ensures the accuracy of your data at its point of entry, thereby avoiding costs and other potential problems later on caused by inaccurate contact information.

“We have been delivering Canadian addressing and mailing solutions like SmartAddresser, SmartSort, and Master Delivery Series for almost twenty years,” said Michael Shroyer, President of Datatech SmartSoft. “Customers and prospects provided us with great feedback and we took stock of those suggestions, investing considerable time and resources to create new intuitive, user-friendly software solutions, while increasing the speed and performance of the coding and mailing engines. These days, solutions need to be faster and easier to use, regardless of the market a software vendor serves, and making our products web service friendly was something we also wanted to deliver to our customers. Initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to many more years providing Canadian customers with the best postal and address hygiene solutions on the market.”

Information on both products can be found at, a new website designed to showcase SmartSoft’s complete set of Canadian address accuracy and postal software offerings.
