Irving Paper announces July 1 US$50/ton price increase in North America for its supercalendered grades

LOS ANGELES , April 25, 2013 () – Irving Paper Ltd. announced today that it will increase the domestic price of its supercalendered (SC) paper grades by US$50 per ton, effective with all new and existing orders shipping on and after July 1.

The grades include Irving SCA, Irving SCB, Irving Radiance (SCA+), and Irving Opulence (SCA++).

The increase applies to all basis weights.

Irving Paper, based in Saint John, New Brunswick, has an SC capacity of 420,000 tonnes/year, according to the company website.
