April 1, 2013 () – Sinopec Corp. (SNP.NYSE; 00386.HK; 600028.SH), Asia's top refiner, said on Friday on its website that the ethylene output of its subsidiary Sinopec Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Co. had topped 3 million metric tons (tonnes) since the refinery put a 1 million tonnes/year unit into operation in April 2010.

The Zhenhai refinery, located in Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province, is China's largest refinery in terms of annual crude throughput.
