LOS ANGELES , March 29, 2013 () – Florida will receive US$6 million in federal funding to help control disease and eradicate pests that threaten the state's agriculture, The Associated Press reported March 29.

The money is coming from the federal farm bill, said state Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam.
