HICKORY, North Carolina/NATCHEZ, Mississippi , January 22, 2013 (press release) – von Drehle Corporation has purchased Mississippi River Pulp and Paper in Natchez, Mississippi. This acquisition provides the necessary de-inking and facility space for future mill and converting expansion.

Founded in 1974, the von Drehle Corporation is a privately held company headquartered in Hickory, North Carolina, that manufactures Towel, Tissue and Dispenser products for the Away-from-Home market.

This Natchez facility will support and compliment von Drehle's current converting and mill operations in Maiden, North Carolina, Memphis, Tennessee, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Cordova, North Carolina. von Drehle intends to maintain the site's current production capabilities.
