Ireland to be allowed to export sheep meat to UAE for first time

LOS ANGELES , January 10, 2013 () – For the first time, Ireland will be allowed to export sheep meat to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Global Meat News reported Jan. 9.

This
agreement
follows
a
decision
by
the
UAE
in summer 2012 to
lift
the
age
restrictions
on
Irish
beef,
as well as an agreement
between
the
two
countries
on
a
veterinary
certificate
allowing
for
the
export
of
Irish
poultry
to
the
UAE.
