Ireland to be allowed to export sheep meat to UAE for first time

For the first time, Ireland will be allowed to export sheep meat to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Global Meat News reported Jan. 9.
This
agreement
follows
a
decision
by
the
UAE
in summer 2012 to
lift
the
age
restrictions
on
Irish
beef,
as well as an agreement
between
the
two
countries
on
a
veterinary
certificate
allowing
for
the
export
of
Irish
poultry
to
the
UAE.
