Ninety-four percent of US adult consumers likely to base their restaurant choices on recommendation from family member or friend, NRA says

LOS ANGELES , January 9, 2013 () – The National Restaurant Association reported on Jan. 8 that according to its 2013 Restaurant Industry Forecast, 94% of U.S. adult consumers said they were likely to base their restaurant choices on recommendations from a family member or friend.

Some of the best ways to grow a restaurant's customer base included convenience, expanded use of technology and word-of-mouth recommendation, according to the forecast.
