More than 33% of Germans think online content should be paid for, 48% want to pay for online edition of newspaper per day, but classic payment structure of newspapers, magazines by month/quarter is much less popular with 28%, survey finds

, December 27, 2012 () – More than one third of Germans thinks that online content should be paid for and 57 percent finds that paid online content should have a clear added value compared with free online content to be worth it according to a survey by Lischke Consulting among 1,000 Germans. The survey found that 48 percent wants to be able to pay for the online edition of newspaper per day, which should be downloadable to tablets or smartphones. The classic payment structure of papers, magazine (paying per month/quarter) is much less popular with 28 percent.
