LOS ANGELES , December 19, 2012 () – According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the E. coli outbreak linked to bagged spinach and leafy greens produced by State Garden Inc. for Wegmans Food Markets Inc. has ended, The Packer reported Dec. 18.

Thirty-three people in five U.S. states were sickened, with 13 admitted to hospitals, but there no deaths related to the outbreak, according to the CDC, which said the outbreak ran from Oct. 18 to Nov. 22.
