Fibria closes civil liability suit with Isac Roffé Zagury seeking indemnification for losses on derivative transactions in 2008, receives 1.5M reais

SAO PAULO , December 5, 2012 (press release) – Fibria announces that, on December 3, 2012, it signed a judicial agreement with Isac Roffé Zagury in relation to the civil liability suit seeking indemnification for losses on derivative transactions in 2008. This agreement brings the proceedings to a close, in return for payment to the company of R$ 1.5 million, in recognition by the defendant of the error committed, in exceeding the company’s financial policy limits and failing to immediately communicate the fact to the Board of Directors.
