Besse Forest Products Group of Gladstone, Michigan, is seeking tax incentives that would allow the company to expand and reopen its hardwood sawmill in Escanaba, Michigan, according to a report by Building-Products.com.
CFO
Dan LaMarche said Besse was looking at constructing new buildings and investing in equipment to increase capacity, the report said.
The capacity expansion is needed following a fire at the group's sawmill in Newberry, Michigan.
