Andritz receives order from Hengan Group to supply four tissue machines with steel Yankees to Changde and Chongqing mills in China; after startup scheduled for 2014, Hengan will be producing on total of 13 Andritz tissue machines

GRAZ, Austria , November 15, 2012 (press release) – International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from the Hengan Group, China, to supply four tissue machines with steel Yankees to the mills in Changde and Chongqing. After start-up, scheduled for 2014, the Hengan Group will be producing on a total of 13 ANDRITZ tissue machines.

The four new tissue machines, all of the type PrimeLineTM W8, each have a design speed of 2,000 m/min and a width of 5.6 m. The scope of supply also includes four steel Yankees each with a diameter of 18 ft., the complete stock preparation plant, and the automation equipment.

This year, ANDRITZ has already successfully started up a total of four high-speed tissue machines for the Hengan Group, two of which are fitted with the largest steel Yankees for tissue applications in operation worldwide.

ANDRITZ will be presenting its latest tissue technology at Tissue World Asia in Shanghai (November 14-16, 2012) and at Tissue World Barcelona (March 19-21, 2013).
