This year at BRAU, A&R Carton’s booth nr. 420 in Hall 4 will broadly display the topic Sustainability and A&R Carton’s Two-Piece Technology. For A&R Carton, sustainability is one of the most important long-term objectives as today’s environmental and business demands are best achieved via sustainable innovation.
A&R Carton’s Two-piece Technology is a model example of sustainable innovation. Traditional open basket carriers and other pack constructions are made of one-piece of solid board. Consequently the options to reduce board weight are limited, unless risking the stability of the carrier.
Using two pieces of solid board and state of the art gluing technology in its pack designs, A&R Carton offers a wide range of innovative solid board multi-pack constructions for the beverage industry, whereby the main advantages of Two-Piece Technology are:
30% less trees are needed compared to market average
Same funcionality; even stronger pack
Advanced and proven gluing technology
Recycled and virgin board combinations
Wide horizon of new pack concepts available
Strong on shelf: preferred by retail and consumers
For the first time A&R Carton will also take part in the theme pavilion „Future Beverage Industry 20xx “ in Hall 7A 203 D where we will venture a look into the future of beverage multipacks. Friso Hijenga, Segment Director Beer & Beverage, will give a presentation about A&R Carton’s approach towards Pack Design and the pillars for A&R Carton’s sustainable Innovation at the Exhibitor Forum on Wednesday 14th November at 10:50 a.m. You are most welcome to join the forum.
We look forward to seeing you at Nuremberg
