SAN JOSE, California , November 1, 2012 () – KB Home is under contract with MTA Properties to purchase more than 300 acres on Communication Hill in San Jose, California where it plans to construct up to 2,000 housing units on about 75 of those acres. Planning applications will be submitted by the end of 2012 and the homebuilder hopes to start selling new homes within the next three years.
