McGraw-Hill declares quarterly dividend of US$0.255/share, payable on Dec. 12

NEW YORK , October 29, 2012 (press release) – The Board of Directors of The McGraw-Hill Companies (MHP) has approved a regular quarterly cash dividend on the Corporation's common stock. The dividend of $0.255 is payable on December 12, 2012, to shareholders of record on November 28, 2012.

The McGraw-Hill Companies has paid a dividend each year since 1937 and is one of fewer than 25 companies in the S&P 500 that has increased its dividend annually for the last 39 years. The annualized rate of $1.02 per share represents an average compound annual dividend growth rate of 9.6% since 1974.
