Harry & David hires Jackie Ardrey as senior VP, Merchandising, responsible for overall merchandising, assortment and supply strategy

MEDFORD, Oregon , September 28, 2012 (press release) – Harry & David, America’s iconic gourmet gifting curators, is pleased to announce the hiring of Jackie Ardrey as Senior Vice President, Merchandising. Jackie will join the Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for developing and managing overall merchandising, assortment and supply strategy. She will provide merchandising and supply management leadership across all channels of distribution, including catalog, internet, retail and wholesale.

Jackie’s background includes more than 20 years merchandising experience in multi-channel retail companies. From 1998 to present she worked at Hanna Andersson, a multi-channel children’s apparel retailer, where she held positions of increasing merchandising responsibility, the most recent being Senior Vice President, Merchandising/Design/Wholesale. Prior to her role at Hanna Andersson, Jackie worked in various merchandising capacities for the May Company and Hecht’s Department Stores. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pennsylvania State University.
