Leading independent orders another four colour casemaker
Richard Coward, Managing Director of Rigid Containers Ltd, confirms the company has recently ordered its third Latitude casemaker. The machine in question, a PP10-25 flexo casemaker, is a top die-cutting machine and it will be installed at the company's Selby factory during April 2013. It will handle a wide range of work, including shelf-ready packaging boxes. The deal was signed with Latitude's UK sales representative, GTS (Europe) Ltd.
"We are continuing with our expansion strategy in the UK and the addition of this new casemaker will further enhance our position in the market," states Mr Coward. "The machine is identical to the one we installed earlier this year in Desborough, and it effectively gives us full 'mirror' capabilities between the two production facilities. With the ongoing growth being seen at our Selby site, the time was right to expand the production capacity further as we look to increase our volumes by as much as 25 per cent over the coming three years."
