CHICAGO , August 2, 2012 () –
Grains futures rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 16.50 cents to $9.1450 a bushel; December corn rose 20.75 cents to $8.14 a bushel; December oats rose 8 cents to $3.8775 a bushel; while November soybeans jumped 41.75 cents to $16.4350 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.55 cent to $1.2582 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.50 cent to $1.3825 a pound; while October lean hogs rose 0.65 cent to 81.97 cents a pound.
